Contracts

Contracts are among the most frequently requested documents from corporations and law firms.

Q1. Are translators experienced in legal contracts assigned?

• • Yes. Experienced translators who are familiar with contract structures and legal terminology handle these projects.
  • If any inconsistencies or ambiguities are found in the source text during translation, we will notify you.
  • Terminology standardization with existing contracts or the use of client-provided glossaries is also available.

Annual Financial Reports

We frequently handle requests from Japanese companies and their subsidiaries.

Q1. Are specialized translators assigned?

• • Yes. Translators with expertise in accounting and finance handle these documents.

Q2. Can a translation certificate be issued?

• • Yes. We provide a company-issued translation certificate suitable for submission to Singapore government authorities.
  • Our translations are accepted for submission to ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore).

Presentation Materials

We translate presentation materials for internal meetings, training sessions, sales materials, and client presentations. Most requests are in PowerPoint format.

Q1. Can the original layout be maintained after translation?

• • Yes. We maintain the original layout as much as possible so the materials can be used immediately in presentations.

Q2. Can charts and images be edited?

• • In most cases, yes. Editable source files are recommended.
  • If text is embedded in images, it can be replaced after translation, though minor quality reduction may occur.
  • Additional layout fees may apply for extensive image editing.

Family Registers (Koseki)

These documents are often requested for visa applications or official procedures in Singapore.

Q1. Are fees fixed?

• • Current-format family registers are priced at a fixed rate.
  • Old-format registers (Kaisei-Gen-Koseki and Closed Registers) are priced based on volume.
  • Clear and legible scans are recommended to ensure accurate translation.

Q2. Can a translation certificate be issued?

• • Yes. A company-issued translation certificate suitable for government submission is provided.

Utility Bills / Receipts

These are sometimes translated as proof of address for banking or administrative procedures.

• • Due to the variety of formats, fixed pricing is not available.
  • Please provide a scanned copy when requesting a quotation.
